En Primeur – Get ‘behind-the-scenes’ at our structured barrel tasting

Share the history of Closson Chase while exploring the pieces of the puzzle that make up the wine in your glass – through sight, smell and taste.

Keith Tyers and Erin MacInnes present a sneak preview of what future vintages have to offer.  They’ll give you a comprehensive overview of operations and productions while escorting you through The Ridge, our wine making facility and underground barrel cellar. The wines will be in their formative stage and starting to show the qualities imparted by oak barrels. Finish your visit by tasting wines that are ready for drinking and in the bottle.  You might even get a chance to create your own blend!

Date: February 25 and March 4, 2017 

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This is your opportunity to talk to the winemaker, sample wines from the barrel, pre-purchase select upcoming vintages as well as explore the County in the winter.  A barrel tasting is not a food pairing event – it’s all about the WINE. 

FREE but registration is required as space is limited.
